Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang looks set to secure Arsenal deal after news of a breakthrough
The prospect of Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette, Mesut Ozil and Mkhitaryan lining up for the Gunners is exciting for the red half of north London
However, according to reports in Germany, Arsenal and Dortmund have reached an agreement of €60 million - roughly £53.7 million - for the 28-year-old and the deal will be done on Wednesday.
Previously, Dortmund officials have projected a calm and confident approach in negotiations and it seems as though for all of Arsenal's endeavour, they have managed to shave all of £2.3 million off Dortmund's reported asking price of £56 million.
The 28-year-old's pending arrival means Arsenal will allow Olivier Giroud to move to Chelsea should their London neighbours meet
the 31-year-old's £35m valuation. Chelsea discussed Giroud over the weekend as they are struggling to strike agreement with Roma for Edin Dzeko and Emerson Palmieri.
